The Weekend {List}

Just another Saturday night?! New Year's Eve is always full of expectations so my suggestion is to get the company right and let the evening unfold from there. Champagne helps too.

Friday:

The Accidental Circus + Friends Holiday Presents: ExtravaganzApocalypse!
Where: Gallery 5
When: 8 - 11:30 PM
$10; 18+

Saturday:

Auld Lang WINE - New Year's Eve at Secco
Tasting menus (omnivore menu shown above), an intimate setting and a choice wine and beer selection! The later seating is completely sold out but a few seats are still available for the 7:30 PM seating, so act fast.

Also, check out Acacia and Rowland's Fine Dining for prix fixe NYE dinners as well.

DJ Epoc spins house/club/dance all night at New York Deli.

I love Balliceaux's NYE line-up as well as the idea of soothing a little hangover the next day with a soul brunch courtesy of Graybeard. RSVP on Facebook here.

Haven't gotten a chance to check out Black Girls yet? Check out the video below for a sneak peak of what you've been missing and what's to come on NYE!

For your final moments of 2011, be sure to check out the Byrd Theater's annual Rising Ball of Carytown! Richmond police will not be closing down the streets as in previous years, but by gosh that ball will rise and we will kiss our loved ones in celebration!

Walk by The Byrd close to midnight to watch the magic. This event is free and open to the public.

Happy New Years Richmond! Stay safe and have fun!
