ART 180 is a local Richmond non-profit organization that helps improve children's lives through art-related programs. Over the past few years I've volunteered with them several times and been repeatedly amazed at their originality and passion! They have the best staff and volunteers that genuinely want to enhance kids' lives through fostering self-expression. They also know how to throw some really great parties. Partnering with other non-profits to organize fundraising events throughout the year, ART 180 is participating in three upcoming events worth adding to your calendar. Be prepared to find gifts for loved ones, support several fantastic organizations that make our community stronger and have a great time while doing it! Sound okay? Sure does.
1. Thursday, December 2 - Art Karma. Silent auctions for eclectic services, fine arts and crafts, DJs, cash bar and hors d'oeuvres, all at Plant Zero. Tickets are $15 in advance and kids attend for free.
2. Friday, December 3 - RVyAy! Music, art and local crafts at Gallery5, free to attend with most arts and crafts being sold for approximately $15 to $20.
3. Saturday, December 11 - Handmade Holiday. More handmade goodness at Plant Zero, free to attend.
And speaking of art, don't forget to check out Richmond's First Fridays Art Walk this Friday!
