Starting today, Saturday, at noon and continuing till around 9 pm, Starr Hill Brewery and Style Weekly present Fantoberfest with No BS Brass, Long Arms, Audio Ammo, Kings of Belmont, Big Payback, Less Than Jake and more. Set between Broad and Grace Streets on the 700 block of Allison Street; tickets are available at the event.
The Richmond Folk Festival is here! This annual, free festival takes place on Brown's Island and brings dozens of musicians to perform at the outdoor venue's stages. This weekend couldn't be more perfect for an outdoor music festival!
On Tuesday, October 18, Hardywood Park Craft Brewery open their doors to the public between 4 and 7 pm for beer tastings and tours. Samples, as well as bottles and growlers, will be available. Located at 2408 Ownby Lane, between the Diamond and the Science Museum of Virginia, Hardywood will officially open their doors on October 22 at their launch party. Get a taste of Richmond's newest addition to our small but thriving brewery community!
Ghostprint Gallery's current show is by painter Jeffrey Vincent from Buffalo, NY. Showing through October 29, Vincent's show combines a range of literal and figurative work in acrylic and collage. Ghostprint Gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday from 1 to 7 pm.

Unfortunately, Hardywood canceled their tasting hours this week in preparation for their launch party on Saturday. I had a pint of the Singel at Commercial Tap House and it was awesome! Definitely make it out on Saturday if you can :)
