Living minimally applies to more than just personal belongings and finances. I like to think of the concept as all-encompassing, including my impact on the planet. On that note, R. Michael Cross | Design Group (i.e. Michael Cross and Evan MacKenzie) is working on the first LEED registered home in Richmond, VA! LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design and is an internationally recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Evan has been writing a super cool blog about the August Project that you should definitely check out. The home, located in the near West End area, will be featured on Virginia Currents tonight at 8 pm. Go Michael and Evan - nice work!
